After a long and crazy week, it's finally Friday. Grace and I didn't go anywhere today. We hung out at the house and tried to take it easy.

We still haven't heard anything about our new car or about getting our money back for the car we didn't buy. We have decided on a wallpaper to use on the lower portion of the walls in our family room. I placed the order for it yesterday. We think we have also found a wallpaper to use on the ceiling to make it look like a tin ceiling. I got some samples and some sample paint to try it out so we can see if we actually like it or not. Today we ordered a new shade for Grace's room as the one she has is broken and we can't open it anymore. That should be in in about a week. We've selected the fabric we want to use for the drapes in the family room too. We just need to order the fabric and have someone make them for us. We can also order the fabric for the valences now and I can make those.

We're going to a birthday party tomorrow for my step-Mom's Aunt who is turning 80. On the way home from there we're stopping at some furniture stores to look at theater seating to put into our family room. We want the seating where every chair is a recliner and every chair has it's own cup-holder. I'm planning to build a step-up or platform for some additional seating behind the regular row of seating like we have now. So that will give us more seating and it should look nice too. We want leather which we have never wanted before but now we think it's the way to go for not only durability, but for looks and comfort too.
