Denver

It's late but I wanted to at least let everyone know that we made it just fine down to Denver.

We went to the Omaha Zoo on Sunday and then drove down here on Monday. Today we went to the Air Force Academy and the Garden of the Gods. And we also stopped by Pikes Peak to look in the gift shop. Tomorrow will be a slower day as Julie starts her convention with an introductory class and some other activities before the actual convention gets underway on Thursday.

We aren't going to be able to take a U.S. Mint tour as they're all booked up. But we have a list of other things we were considering. For some reason my laptop (with Windows Vista) doesn't recognize USB drives so I can't post any pictures except from my cell phone and those just aren't that good so I won't bother.

The condo we're in is really nice. It's not the nicest condo complex, but it's clean and the pool looks nice (we're planning to swim tomorrow!) The condo itself is quite large with plenty of room for the four of us. We have yet to cook a meal, but hopefully with a slower pace tomorrow that will change.

There is a Chinese restaurant only three blocks from here called Mings Dynasty that is REALLY good. It's probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. There is a Target, Whole Foods, Dairy Queen, and other things close-by too. So we're in a good location.

I've got to get some sleep before the sun shines through the skylight.
